What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a technique in which small amounts of a selected product are injected superficially. Different formulations can be used. At DIVINE Medica in Munich, we explain the ingredients and select the treatment according to your skin condition and the area being treated.
What does Mesotherapy entail?
The skin assessment determines the product, injection depth and distribution. We then give several small injections in the agreed area and monitor the immediate skin response.
Applications of Mesotherapy
At our practice, mesotherapy may be used for the face and eye area. We assess hydration, fine lines and skin sensitivity and tailor the treatment to your personal goal.
Safety of Mesotherapy
Small bruises, mild swelling or tenderness can accompany the microinjections. Allergic reactions, infection, nodules or pigment changes require separate assessment. Product selection therefore takes your skin sensitivity and known intolerances into account.
Before and Aftercare
Your skincare habits and previous skin treatments help guide selection of the mesotherapy formulation. Information about medications and allergies is equally important. Pregnancy, breastfeeding or current skin inflammation must be discussed personally before treatment.
After mesotherapy, skincare depends on the active ingredients and treatment area. Leave the injection sites undisturbed and use gentle products. Avoid make-up, exercise and further skin treatments for the period advised. If pain increases or signs of inflammation develop, please contact the practice.
In the weeks after treatment, we assess changes in skin quality and how well you have tolerated treatment. Further appointments depend on the product, the planned treatment cycle and the result so far.
