With polynucleotide treatment, we carefully consider the skin area, medications and known sensitivities, including possible fish allergy. Infection, allergic reactions or persistent nodules should be distinguished from temporary injection-site reactions. Rare vascular complications can seriously affect tissue or vision. Pregnancy and breastfeeding should be discussed before treatment.
Polynucleotide treatment is planned according to the region, skin thickness and the characteristics of the selected product.
During your polynucleotide consultation, we discuss the area you would like to improve and how your skin feels. Skin structure and elasticity are also considered. We take known allergies to the materials used in the product and any previous injections into account when selecting a product for you.
The polynucleotide product and treatment area are confirmed with you again. After cleansing and disinfection, local anaesthesia can be used if required. Preparation takes the skin thickness and sensitivity of the area into account.
We distribute the appropriate polynucleotide product with small injections throughout the agreed area. Skin thickness and product instructions determine placement.
Immediately after treatment, we check the injection sites and how your skin has responded. Your care instructions take the treatment area into account. Follow-up shows whether further polynucleotide treatments appear appropriate.
Before your polynucleotide appointment, please tell us about previous injections, medical conditions, medications and allergies, including any fish allergy. Prescribed medicines should only be changed after medical advice. Acute illness or infected or inflamed skin must be assessed first.
Do not rub or press on small bumps after polynucleotide injections. Gentle skincare and sun protection support recovery, and the injection sites should be left as undisturbed as possible. We advise you individually on how long to avoid exercise, heat and skincare products with active ingredients. Worsening or unusually severe reactions require medical advice.

The appointment lasts 30–60 minutes. Possible changes include more supple skin, less noticeable fine lines and a more even-looking surface. Improvement develops gradually and depends on the product, your skin condition before treatment and your individual response.
The stated pain level of 2–3 out of 10 is a guide only; individual sensitivity varies. Local anaesthesia is available on request. Downtime is usually 1–3 days. Recovery time: 1–3 days
Redness, swelling, small bruises, tenderness and temporary bumps at the injection sites may occur. These reactions usually settle on their own. If symptoms persist or worsen, please have the area medically assessed.
Laser treatments, peels, botulinum toxin or fillers may be added to the treatment plan when appropriate for your skin. We set the sequence and intervals so the skin has enough time to heal before the next procedure.
