What is Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler?
Hyaluronic acid filler is an injectable gel that holds moisture and adds volume or support. Softer formulations suit delicate definition, while firmer gels help shape areas such as the cheeks, chin and jawline.

What does Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler entail?
After assessment and consent, the clinician cleans the skin and injects the selected filler with a needle or cannula. Placement is gradual, and shape, symmetry and tissue response are checked throughout.
Applications of Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler
Fillers can refine lips, cheeks, chin and jawline, restore suitable hollows or soften selected folds. Facial structure, skin quality and previous treatment guide the product and placement.

Safety of Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler
Common effects include swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary unevenness. Rare but serious accidental injection into a blood vessel can damage skin and, in facial areas, affect vision or cause stroke, so treatment requires an experienced medical injector and an emergency plan.
Before and Aftercare
Disclose allergies, bleeding problems, medicines, previous fillers, dental work, infection, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Avoid pressing the area unless instructed and follow advice about heat, exercise, alcohol, dental work and other treatments. Obtain urgent help for severe pain, pale or mottled skin, visual change, weakness or speech difficulty.
Volume change is usually visible immediately, but swelling can hide the final result. Assessment is commonly more reliable after about 2 weeks, and duration varies by product, area and metabolism.

Personal consultation
Before undergoing a Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler treatment, we offer a consultation with a doctor. A 30-minute consultation costs €75. During the consultation, we discuss your wishes, medical history, expectations, and the treatment plan that best fits your skin and facial anatomy.

A soft, mobile area such as the lip has different needs from a chin or jawline. The formulation and depth of placement are chosen to suit both the anatomy and the intended change.
Many treatments use one session with a later review. A review after swelling settles guides any additional product or maintenance.

Filler can be coordinated with other treatments. Your clinician plans the sequence around the areas treated, swelling and recovery.
