Lifting & Tightening
Create a modest temporary lift and tissue support without traditional surgery.
Thread lifts place absorbable sutures beneath the skin to reposition selected tissue and create a limited lifting effect.

PDO mono threads are mainly used for tissue support, while barbed or cone-based threads such as COG, Aptos or Silhouette Soft are designed to grip and reposition tissue. Thread types, anchoring and expected effects differ.

Applications may include mild facial or neck laxity, early jowls or selected contour concerns. Thread lifts cannot reproduce the result of a surgical facelift and are not suitable for heavy tissue or substantial skin excess.

Some lift is visible immediately, with additional settling over several weeks. Results are temporary and often subtle. As swelling falls, the early effect may reduce.

It may suit carefully selected adults with mild laxity who want a temporary change and understand the limitations. Thin skin, heavy tissue, active infection or unrealistic expectations may make another option better.
Many plans use one procedure with review. Repeat treatment is considered only after healing and assessment of the result.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness and dimpling may last several days or longer. Patients may need to limit strenuous activity and exaggerated facial movement during early healing.
The clinician assesses skin thickness, tissue weight, facial movement and the amount of excess skin. Devices, injectables or surgery should be discussed as alternatives.
