Profhilo Structura is designed for certain age-related changes at the sides of the face. The hyaluronic acid product is placed in the superficial fat layer. Profhilo Structura is a hyaluronic acid product intended for the superficial fat layer of the face. Its application and placement differ from classic Profhilo. Treatment is planned according to the distribution of tissue in the selected facial areas.
The treatment may be suitable for certain changes in the contours at the sides of the face. The distribution and condition of the superficial fat layer and the support of the overlying skin are the key factors.
We assess whether the product is suitable for your skin, taking your medical history into account. Please tell us about pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies and any previous intolerances. Careful injection technique, guided by anatomy and supported by hygienic practice, is essential for safety.
After injections, temporary swelling, small bruises or tenderness may occur. Infection, persistent nodules and allergic reactions are not typical short-term side effects. Rare vascular complications can seriously affect tissue or vision and require prompt medical treatment. These differences are explained clearly during your consultation.
Bruising, swelling and tenderness can occur. Less common complications include infection, persistent lumps and allergic reactions. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage and, in facial injections, serious visual complications.

When planning Profhilo Structura treatment, we assess how the superficial fat layer and overlying skin contribute to the contours at the sides of the face. Your goals, anatomical features and previous procedures help determine whether this approach may provide appropriate support.
The intended path through the superficial fat layer is planned according to your facial anatomy. Cleansing and disinfection prepare the area. The procedure and any anaesthesia are agreed with you before treatment with the cannula begins.
Using a cannula, we place Profhilo Structura in the intended superficial fat layer. The path and placement are carefully adapted to your facial anatomy.
At the end, we assess the contours at the sides of the face and the immediate tissue response. You receive aftercare tailored to the Structura treatment. At a later follow-up, we compare the treated area with its appearance before treatment.
Before Profhilo Structura, please tell us about existing fillers, previous procedures and recent facial skin treatments. Allergies and medications should also be discussed; prescribed medicines should only be changed after medical advice. Herpes, infected or inflamed skin must be medically assessed in advance.
After Profhilo Structura, aftercare is tailored to the areas of the face that have been treated. To support recovery, keep the skin clean, avoid rubbing or massage unless instructed, and avoid exercise and heat exposure for the agreed period. Unusually severe pain, pale or discoloured skin, or visual symptoms require immediate medical attention.
Possible goals include more balanced contours at the sides of the face and smoother transitions between these areas. We usually assess changes in the tissue over 8–12 weeks after the first two sessions. The degree of improvement and how it develops vary from person to person.

Redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising can occur at the injection sites. These reactions often settle within a few days, although visible marks may last longer.
