What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite microparticles in a carrier gel. The product can support contours in suitable areas and stimulate collagen formation. When more highly diluted, the emphasis shifts to improving skin quality over a wider area.

What does Radiesse® entail?
We assess the tissue and determine the amount, dilution and tissue depth. For hyperdilution, Radiesse is diluted further and distributed over a broader area. The approach depends on the intended treatment region.
Applications of Radiesse®
At our Munich practice, we distinguish between targeted contour support and collagen stimulation over a wider area. Our assessment determines whether either approach is appropriate for your concern.

Safety of Radiesse®
Mild swelling, small bruises or tenderness may occur temporarily after Radiesse. Nodules require separate assessment. Rare vascular complications can seriously affect tissue or vision. Calcium hydroxylapatite cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase; this is an important part of your personal consultation.
Before and Aftercare
When planning Radiesse, we consider both your tissue and whether fillers or implants are already present. Please tell us about medications and allergies. During the consultation, we clearly explain the technique suited to your needs and its risks.
Contouring treatment and hyperdilution can require different aftercare. Follow your personalised advice on pressure, massage, exercise and heat exposure. Severe pain, pale or discoloured skin or visual symptoms require immediate medical attention.
A contouring effect may be visible early, although swelling can initially influence the appearance. Collagen-related changes develop over weeks to months. We assess both aspects during follow-up.

Personal consultation
During your personal Radiesse consultation at the practice, we distinguish between contour support and collagen stimulation over a wider area. The appropriate treatment technique depends on the tissue and your desired result. A 30-minute consultation costs €75.

With hyperdilution, Radiesse is diluted further and distributed broadly through suitable tissue. The focus is on skin structure and firmness rather than a pronounced filling effect.
We compare the condition and contours of your skin with their appearance before treatment. The timing of follow-up depends on whether you had contouring treatment or hyperdilution.
