Safety and Tolerability
Your treatment is based on a careful skin assessment, good hygiene and an appropriate injection technique. Infection, allergic reactions or persistent nodules are not expected reactions and should be medically assessed. Rare vascular complications can be serious and may affect tissue or vision. Existing medical conditions, pregnancy and breastfeeding are considered in advance.

Treatment Preparation
We select the injection sites for the small amounts of hyaluronic acid based on your skin structure. After careful cleansing and disinfection, we review the procedure with you again; local anaesthesia is available if you would prefer it.

Treatment
We inject small amounts of hyaluronic acid into the agreed areas of skin using fine needles. The product and skin thickness determine the amount and injection depth.

Review of Results
At the end, the injection sites are cared for and the immediate skin response is assessed. Your aftercare plan and the timing of any follow-up depend on the treated area and your progress during the course of skinbooster treatment.
Preparation and Aftercare
Before the treatment
For your skinbooster appointment, it is important to tell us about your skincare routine, previous injections, medical conditions, allergies and medications. Prescription medicines should only be changed after medical advice. Acute illness, skin infection or inflamed areas must first be assessed and may require rescheduling.
After the treatment
Give your skin time to settle after the microinjections. Gentle skincare, sun protection and leaving the injection sites as undisturbed as possible support recovery. How long you should avoid exercise, intense heat and irritating active ingredients depends on your skin response. Please seek medical advice if symptoms become increasingly uncomfortable or unusually severe.
Results
The skin may feel more supple and look smoother, while fine lines related to dryness may become less noticeable. We usually assess the results of a skinbooster series 6–12 weeks after completion. The extent and duration of change vary from person to person.
