PRX-T33 by WiQo combines trichloroacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. The formulation is applied topically and worked into the skin according to a professional protocol. The aim is to improve skin quality; irritation can still occur even when there is little or no visible peeling.
Dull or unevenly textured skin may be suitable for PRX-T33. The condition of your skin barrier, your current skincare and any recent procedures determine the appropriate timing.
Peel formulation and strength are selected according to your skin barrier, tendency to develop pigmentation changes and medical history. Temporary peeling may be expected, but chemical burns, infection, herpes reactivation, scarring and persistent pigment changes are possible complications. Personalised preparation and aftercare take these risks into account.
Temporary burning, redness, dryness and flaking may occur. Less commonly, chemical burns, infection, persistent redness, darker or lighter pigmentation and scarring can develop. Please tell us about previous herpes outbreaks or pigment changes before treatment.

After thorough cleansing, the skin is prepared according to the product instructions. Sensitive areas are taken into account and the planned application is explained.
PRX-T33 is applied to the skin in a controlled manner and worked into the skin according to the treatment protocol. Tolerance is monitored before the product is removed and appropriate skincare is applied. Tingling, warmth or a burning sensation may occur during treatment. Your skin response is monitored and the application adjusted accordingly.
At the end of the treatment, we assess the immediate response of the treated area. The skin may feel more supple after treatment. Skincare and follow-up appointments are tailored accordingly.
Please tell us about acid-based skincare, medications, allergies, herpes and previous peels, including isotretinoin use. Do not change prescribed medication without medical advice. Recent tanning and irritated or broken skin should be assessed before treatment.
The recommended skincare supports your skin between PRX-T33 appointments. We provide personalised advice on sun protection and how long to avoid additional products with potentially irritating active ingredients. Contact us if burning persists or signs of inflammation develop.
The skin may feel more supple after treatment. Any improvement in texture is assessed over the course of treatment and again after around 4–6 weeks. How much improvement you see and how well you tolerate treatment vary from person to person.
