Initial consultation
We examine tissue thickness, fine lines, piercing holes and any scars. We also discuss how you wear earrings and any previous inflammation or tendency to develop raised scars.

NATURAL. SUBTLE. YOU.
We gently restore volume to thin earlobes and soften fine lines.
Earlobes can become thinner over time, lose fullness and develop fine lines. Hyaluronic acid can restore volume in selected areas and create a smoother surface. We take the natural shape of the ear, the position of piercings and any scars into account.

For earlobe treatment, a suitable hyaluronic acid gel is placed into the soft tissue. It can make a flattened earlobe look fuller and soften fine lines.
We use an amount that suits the rest of the ear. Filler cannot repair a significantly stretched piercing hole, a torn piercing hole or a split earlobe. These concerns need to be assessed separately.

Treatment may be suitable for earlobes that are thin, mildly wrinkled or have lost volume, provided there is enough healthy tissue.
If piercing holes are severely stretched, there is significant scarring or the edge of the earlobe is torn, we discuss whether surgical correction would be more appropriate. Active inflammation around piercings must settle first.

Mild local reactions are possible and are usually temporary. Rarely, complications requiring treatment can occur, including infection or reduced blood flow with possible tissue damage.
Increasing pain, or skin that becomes pale, darkly discoloured or unusually cool, requires immediate medical assessment.
If unexpected changes occur, we assess the problem and support you with any further care needed.
We assess each earlobe separately and tailor the correction to its individual shape.

We examine tissue thickness, fine lines, piercing holes and any scars. We also discuss how you wear earrings and any previous inflammation or tendency to develop raised scars.

We document the earlobes, remove any jewellery that interferes with treatment, then cleanse and disinfect the skin. Local anaesthetic is used if needed.

The hyaluronic acid gel is placed gradually into selected areas. We monitor circulation and changes in shape, taking care not to make the earlobe look excessively full.

We compare both sides and explain what to expect during recovery. You will be told when you can wear earrings again and when a follow-up may be useful.
Tell us about allergies, medications, previous procedures and any inflammation around piercing holes. Please also mention if you tend to develop prominent or raised scars. We postpone treatment if piercings are irritated, there is eczema or an infection. Do not stop prescribed medication without medical advice.
At first, avoid pressure, rubbing and pulling on the earlobes. This includes heavy earrings, tight headphones and anything else that presses on the treated areas. We advise you individually on when it is appropriate to wear earrings again. New piercings should be planned only once the tissue has fully settled and you have sought medical advice. Increasing pain or unusual discolouration requires prompt medical assessment.
The added fullness is visible immediately. We assess the true shape once swelling has settled, often after around two weeks. Longevity depends on how your body breaks down hyaluronic acid, the tissue itself and the product used. Repeated pulling from heavy earrings can continue to stretch the tissue; filler does not prevent this. Any top-up is considered only after reassessment.

We discuss what changes can realistically be achieved by restoring volume and how much treatment is appropriate.
Costs may vary depending on the product, amount and agreed extent of treatment. We confirm the total price in advance.
Answers to your questions about earlobes, earrings and aftercare.
Hyaluronic acid restores lost volume in the soft tissue of the earlobe. This can make the contour look fuller and the surface smoother. It does not close a torn piercing hole.
The appointment takes around 30–60 minutes. Early changes are visible immediately. We assess the final shape once swelling has settled.
Temporary tenderness, swelling or bruising may occur. Local anaesthetic can make treatment more comfortable. Avoid wearing earrings for the initial period we recommend.
It may be suitable for thin or wrinkled earlobes. Afterwards, avoid pulling and pressure and follow our guidance on care and earrings. Unusual pain or skin discolouration must be assessed immediately.

The earlobes may be swollen or tender for several days. Bruising can remain visible for longer. Recovery time depends on your individual response.

Redness, swelling and temporary firmness can occur. Less commonly, nodules, infection or delayed inflammation may develop. Unevenness or overfilling may also require reassessment.

If there are fine skin lines, we first assess how much improvement is achieved by restoring volume. We discuss complementary treatment only if a separate skin concern remains. For torn or severely stretched piercing holes, surgical correction may be appropriate. Whether additional volume should be restored later can be assessed after healing. Routine combination with botulinum toxin is not planned for this area.

With earlobes, the aim is to restore appropriate fullness while keeping a natural shape. We distinguish between volume loss and an actual tissue injury so that a structural problem is not simply concealed with more filler.

We assess your earlobes and explain whether restoring volume can achieve the change you want or whether another approach would be more suitable.
