For us, facial harmonisation means looking at changes in relation to the whole face. Adding support to the chin can influence the profile, while restoring cheek volume can alter the contours of the midface. Together, we identify the few changes that can meaningfully improve your proportions while preserving your individual facial features.

Full-Face Harmonisation consultation

Treatment overview

This treatment combines carefully selected filler corrections within one coordinated plan. It does not mean that every area of the face needs to be treated.

We distinguish between volume loss, contour goals and changes involving the skin or muscles. Every planned injection should have a clear reason. Areas with particular anatomical risks are assessed separately and are not automatically included in a full-face treatment.

For more extensive goals, we work in stages. This allows us to assess the effect of an initial correction before deciding whether other areas should be treated.

Full-Face Harmonisation treatment

When might this treatment be suitable?

A full-face plan may be useful when changes to several facial contours need to be considered together or when you would like a coordinated assessment after having had different individual treatments.

Existing filler is also included in the assessment. If too much material is already present or there is swelling, investigation or correction may be more appropriate before adding anything else. Skin laxity and muscle activity are assessed separately.

Full-Face Harmonisation safety

Safety and tolerability

The risks depend on the areas actually treated. We discuss rare vascular complications that may cause permanent tissue damage or visual impairment. Careful planning can reduce these risks but cannot eliminate them completely.

Unusual pain, abnormal skin discolouration or changes in vision require immediate medical assessment. Do not wait for your next follow-up appointment or a reply from the clinic.

If unexpected changes occur, we arrange the necessary care and continue to support you.

Treatment process

Together, we set priorities and plan only the changes that are likely to improve your facial contours.

Preparation and aftercare

Before the treatment

If possible, bring details of previous fillers, surgery and other aesthetic treatments. Tell us about medical conditions, allergies, medications and current infections. We also discuss upcoming dental work and important events for which you will need to allow enough recovery time. Do not stop medication without medical advice.

After the treatment

You receive guidance for each treated area. Pressure, massage and additional cosmetic treatments should initially be avoided unless discussed with us. We give you an aftercare plan covering exercise, heat exposure and skincare across all treated areas. If you develop unusual symptoms, do not wait until your planned follow-up appointment. We assess such changes separately and promptly.

Results

The treated contours often change immediately. Swelling can temporarily make different areas look more or less pronounced. The overall result can only be assessed properly once swelling has settled sufficiently. Your body breaks down hyaluronic acid at its own rate, and movement and tissue structure differ between facial areas. Changes in weight and skin quality can also affect the appearance. For this reason, different areas do not necessarily need topping up at the same time.

Frequently Asked
Questions ›

Answers to your questions about planning treatment across several facial areas.

We coordinate selected corrections so they work together. The plan takes into account how a change in one area can affect the appearance of the rest of the face. Not every area needs filler.

Depending on the extent, treatment may take around 30–60 minutes per appointment or may require several appointments. Early changes are visible immediately. We assess the overall result once swelling has settled sufficiently.

This depends on the areas treated and the overall extent. Swelling and bruising can last for different lengths of time. We plan treatment with your recovery time in mind.

A full-face plan may be useful when several concerns are connected. Afterwards, follow the advice for every area treated. We monitor how the result develops and decide together whether any further steps are needed.

Downtime and Swelling

Downtime and Swelling

When several areas are treated, swelling and bruising may vary from one region to another. Recovery time depends on the overall extent of treatment and your individual response. Where appropriate, we divide treatment across more than one appointment.

Possible side effects

Possible side effects

Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness and unevenness may occur. Less commonly, persistent nodules, infection or delayed inflammation can develop. Overcorrection or proportions that do not look balanced may also require reassessment.

Combination Options

Combination Options

Hyaluronic acid restores volume and contour. If unwanted muscle activity is also present, botulinum toxin may be appropriate; for changes in skin texture, selected skin treatments may be considered. If skin laxity or a double chin also affects the contour, we discuss suitable additional options. Each combination has its own treatment goal, sequence and timing.

Why DIVINE Medica >

DIVINE Medica Munich clinic interior

We base the plan on your face and your goals. Harmonious change comes from appropriate proportions and restraint, not from using as many injections as possible.

  • We therefore also explain which areas do not need treatment. When appropriate, we work in stages and assess whether the first change is already enough.
  • Setting realistic priorities together
  • Assessment of the face at rest, during movement and in profile
  • Consideration of existing filler
  • Selection of suitable products for different areas
  • Clear information about the extent, cost and stages of treatment
  • Personal support until the overall result can be assessed
