Collagen Stimulation in Munich
When the skin loses fullness and firmness, we assess the underlying tissue structure. Collagen-stimulating products support the gradual formation of the body’s own collagen fibres.

What is Collagen Stimulation?
Collagen stimulators include different active ingredients, such as poly-L-lactic acid. They trigger tissue responses that support the formation of the body’s own collagen fibres. The most suitable product depends on the tissue, treatment area and goal.

What does Collagen Stimulation entail?
After examination, we select the product and determine distribution and treatment depth. If a series is planned, we discuss the intervals and assess progress before further sessions.
Applications of Collagen Stimulation
At DIVINE Medica in Munich, collagen-stimulating treatments are a particular focus of FA Dr. Med. (univ. Belgrad) Darko Nikolic. A personalised treatment plan addresses suitable areas of volume loss and reduced tissue firmness. Product choice and extent of treatment depend on our assessment and the degree of change that can realistically be achieved.

Safety of Collagen Stimulation
Small bruises, mild swelling or tenderness may occur after injection. Persistent nodules, asymmetry, infection and vascular injury are different from these temporary reactions. Because some products cannot be specifically dissolved, product selection, preparation and placement are planned carefully.
Before and Aftercare
When selecting a collagen stimulator, previous injections, implants, medications and allergies are part of the consultation. Current inflammation or unusual tissue reactions must first be assessed. Only then can treatment be planned appropriately.
For collagen stimulators, the skincare and massage instructions depend on the specific product. Your aftercare plan also takes the treatment area into account. Persistent nodules, fever or worsening symptoms should be medically assessed. Severe pain, unusual skin discolouration or visual symptoms require immediate medical attention.
Initial changes often develop over 4–12 weeks, while further changes in the tissue can take longer. At follow-up, we assess the result and adapt further sessions accordingly.

Personal consultation
During a personal consultation at our practice, we discuss which collagen stimulator may be suitable for your concern. Differences in effect, tissue plane, aftercare and risks are explained clearly. A 30-minute consultation costs €75.
