What is Laser Hair Removal?
With long-term diode-laser hair removal, pigment in the hair absorbs the light energy. The resulting heat can selectively damage actively growing hair follicles. Skin type, hair colour and treatment area determine how the laser is used. Long-term hair reduction means a stable reduction in regrowth over time; a treatment series and, where needed, maintenance sessions form part of the individual plan.

What does Laser Hair Removal entail?
Areas shaved according to instructions are treated with diode-laser pulses. Suitable eye protection and cooling accompany the procedure. A brief feeling of warmth or mild stinging may occur. Further appointments depend on the treatment area and hair growth.
Applications of Laser Hair Removal
During your consultation, we agree which areas of facial or body hair are suitable for treatment. New or markedly changed facial hair growth may warrant further medical evaluation. The areas treated and timing of sessions follow your individual plan.

Safety of Laser Hair Removal
Redness and small swellings around hair follicles may occur temporarily. Burns, blisters, scarring, pigment changes and eye injury are separate risks. Unexpected increased hair growth is also possible. Tanning and skin type are taken into account, and suitable eye protection is required.
Before and Aftercare
Avoid tanning and self-tanning products. Shave as instructed and pause plucking or waxing for the agreed period. Tell us about medications, but do not change prescribed medication without medical advice.
Gentle skincare and sun protection support recovery. Avoid heat exposure and excessive friction as advised. Please contact us if blistering, severe pain or unusually increased hair growth occurs.
Treated hairs may shed after around 1–3 weeks. Long-term reduction develops over multiple sessions and is assessed over time. Individual hairs may regrow, and maintenance is more likely to be required when hair growth is hormonally influenced.

Personal consultation
During your hair-removal consultation, we assess your skin, hair and the areas you would like treated. We explain how many sessions you may need and whether maintenance treatment is likely to be necessary. A 30-minute consultation costs €75.

Hairs in any one area are in different growth phases. Multiple appointments at suitable intervals allow us to treat more hairs when they reach a growth phase in which they can respond to the laser.
Shave the area according to your personal instructions. Avoid plucking and waxing for the agreed period so the hair structures targeted by the laser remain in place.
