What is Vascular Laser and IPL?
Vascular lasers and suitable IPL systems deliver light energy that is absorbed by blood pigment. Selected vessels are heated in a targeted way. The two technologies differ, and we select the most suitable option based on your assessment.
What does Vascular Laser and IPL entail?
Vessel diameter, depth and skin type determine the treatment parameters. After preparation and eye protection, controlled pulses are delivered with appropriate cooling.
Applications of Vascular Laser and IPL
Visible capillaries, certain types of facial redness and suitable spider veins are possible indications. If inflammation or venous symptoms are present, the cause is assessed first and treatment is supplemented where necessary.
Safety of Vascular Laser and IPL
Temporary redness, swelling, small bruises or darkening may occur. Burns, persistent pigment changes, scarring and eye injury are separate risks. Appropriate eye protection and region-specific settings are part of treatment.
Before and Aftercare
Avoid recent tanning and self-tanning products. Please tell us about photosensitising medications and previous laser or IPL treatments. Change prescribed medication only after medical consultation.
Protect the skin from the sun and avoid exposure to intense heat as advised. Do not rub areas with darkened vessels or pick at crusts. Blistering, severe pain or persistent skin changes should be medically assessed.
Some vessels change early, while others fade over several weeks. Follow-up determines whether further sessions are appropriate. New vessels may still develop later.
